Classic sound with a wider body and a rounded tip. |
Fender Premium Celluloid picks combine the traditional tone and feel of celluloid, with beautiful and unique colors. Often called the Fender pick, the 351 shape is the pick most associated with Fender company and guitar. A wider body and a rounded tip have made this pick a favorite with players of every style.
Why a Heavy Guitar Pick?
The thicker gauge of Fender's heavy picks give a mellow, mid-heavy sound for jazz guitar, and are also perfect for handling the thicker strings of a bass guitar. Shredders also tend to favor heavy picks as it's easier to play single note lines.
Celluloid, Historically Speaking
Invented in 1856, celluloid is considered the first invented thermoplastic. This was the first plastic ever used to produce picks, and it is still used today, especially for guitarists aiming for vintage tone. Celluloid is easily molded and shaped, and it was first widely used as an ivory replacement. Easy to manufacture, easy to produce, celluloid is the favored pick of guitarists around the world.

Customer Review :
Good but, no one ever gets the right amount of picks in their package : Fender 351 Premium Celluloid Guitar Picks, 12 Pack, Purple Moto, Heavy
Ordered these for my hubby. He said he received 8 in the package. So I quickly contacted Amazon and complained. They PROMPTLY responded and shipped another package free of charge, and apologized for the troubles. The second time he received 11 out of 12. At least we did eventually get our money's worth. So a little bit of trouble, but Amazon was super quick to fix and give more! Please Check Update Here!!
